I've made some enquiries about the second official update for NBA Live 10. There is no specific release date locked in at this time, as soon as that information becomes available to us (as well as the issues addressed by the update) we will be sure to post it. It would appear that a second fix is certainly on the way however, which is good news in the wake of some additional issues that were caused by the first update and some pre-patch issues that will hopefully be addressed the second time around.

In addition to the daily DNA updates, the latest NBA Live 10 official roster update includes fixed player data and changed ratings to reflect player performance through the first few weeks of the season. Of note, standout rookie Brandon Jennings' overall rating has jumped from 70 to 80, with his production thus far obviously warranting a few ratings boosts. As always, you can check out the latest changes upon downloading the latest DNA update or through the DNA Scouting Report under the Dynamic DNA menu in NBA Live 10.

A new In the Paint blog entry has been posted over at EASports.com, the first in a series of posts that will feature an NBA player currently turning heads in real life. The first entry spotlights Milwaukee Bucks rookie Brandon Jennings and includes a few screenshots of Jennings from NBA Live 10. The blog goes on to invite users to suggest players to be featured in future editions of NBA Player Takeover as well as submit any uploaded NBA Live 10 highlights featuring the nominated players.

A new blog talking about the first unlockable jerseys code for NBA Live 10 has been posted here over on EASports.com. It contains a few screenshots of the unlockable alternate jerseys and also mentions that we can expect to see new shoes and additional jerseys available as the 2009/2010 season progresses.

I'm a little late in posting this, but a code for the first batch of unlockable jerseys in NBA Live 10 has been revealed. The code currently appears as one of the Daily Messages while shooting around in The Hangar, for those who haven't jotted it down yet here it is:

The code unlocks the new alternate jerseys for the Grizzlies, Rockets, Mavericks and Hawks. To enter it, select My NBA Live 10 from the main menu, then EA Sports Extras and finally NBA Codes.
